I might be a bit biased here, but I think my roses look amazing and smell really, really wonderful.

My roses are not red
They start off as orange buds.
With time, the orange lightens and turns pink. When in full bloom, the flower opens to reveal soft yellow petals on the inside.

I'm pretty new to this whole gardening thing, especially when it comes to roses. I'm so pleased that the pruning I did in winter has paid off and the first flowers have started blooming - feels a little bit like winning the lotto to me.
Have a beautiful week ahead, and remember to stop and smell the roses.
