Throughout my school years in Singapore, my school uniform consisted of a white pleated skirt that was made of a nasty, scratchy fabric. The skirt itself was designed to make even the most attractive girl look like a tree trunk. Oh, how I hated that pleated skirt.These days, however, I am seeing pleats in a completely different light; I would like some pretty pleats, please.

i totally have the same experience with white knife pleated school uniform (same school!!?) but im slowly regaining my trust in pleats again...

i am not a fan of pleats. They don't do much for the hippy woman. But I am quite envious of how they gracefully hang on thinner women. I want to like them though.

These pleated skirts are really pretty, especially the maxi ones, but they don't look so good on myself, haha! Thanks for the lovely comment too, I love the colours of autumn as well. xxx
