Brooches and me

My mom had a huge collection of brooches, and my job as her little girl was to pick out a brooch for her each day to match her clothes. These little pieces of jewellery fascinated me, I loved touching them, feeling the pearls and stones and wishing that one day, I'll grow up to wear them myself.

Carousel goes round and round

Can't recall why, but I was never a fan of the carousel when I was little. Maybe it was the constant going round and round that left me dizzy and I was fearful of the painted horses. But now, I'm thinking I've missed out on a lot of fun.

Yay the weekend is here! I'm catching up with a friend and together we'll do some shopping at the markets tomorrow; I'm sooo looking forward to eating some yummy gozleme at the turkish food stall, and maybe some chocolate dipped strawberries.

Cardi collection

Here are some top picks from my cardigan collection. Theses days I practically live in cardis, layering them with other tops, scarves and jackets to keep myself warm.

The first 3 cardis I love, because they're girly and go with everything in my wardrobe. The other 2, simply because they're sparkly and fun!

When love and hate collide

I like: watching musicals, sunny days, turkish delight, avocadoes, Gossip Girl, sleeping in on weekends, cooked breakfasts on Sundays, high heels, massages, freshly painted nails, being organised and meaningful conversations.

I love: my man Stu.
