Ok, this post is going to sound really weird if you live in the Northern hemisphere but right here in Sydney, it's beginning to feel a lot like winter! I'm bringing out all my snugly scarves and can't wait to wear them...

Good as Gold

My mom taught me the value of gold from a very young age. When her mom passed away suddenly and unexpectedly from a heart attack, the only thing my mom had was a gold bracelet from her. Since then, my mom has showered me with gifts of gold so I'd always have something of value from her to hold on to.

Oh my gosh, I have been crazy busy lately and am absolutely snowed under (or should I say rained under?) Sorry I have been missing in action in blogosphere but know that I miss visiting all your blogs. I will be back soon, I promise!

Nothing inspires me to cook more than a beautifully presented recipe book with yummy recipes and lots of food porn. Donna Hay's Seasons is my latest purchase and I love that the recipes are categoried by seasons, using the produce that are most available and food that best suits the weather for different times of the year.

The Australian Queen of food styling doesn't disappoint, I'm having so much joy just flipping through the pages!

One of Stu's long time dream came true recently when I booked him a "Learn to fly a tiger moth" experience with Vintage Aviation. He sat in the pilot's seat, took a joy ride and actually got to fly the Tiger Moth - awesome stuff!
