Sponsor shoutout: Whiteflash.com

If diamonds are your best friend, then you've got to meet Whiteflash, my latest and most brilliant sponsor.

Whiteflash has been hailed as "the lord of the online rings", and for good reasons. Whiteflash customizes nearly half its jewellery, allowing you as much details as possible in designing your own ring. The best part is, you don't need to be a jewellery designer to create your customised ring,Whiteflash's custom ring designer helps you along by explaining options and values that will assist in communicating your dream ring appropriately.

So what makes Whiteflash stand out above the rest? Well, it is their signature diamonds the Whiteflash A Cut Above, which are faithfully brillianteered so that all 57 facets line up perfectly with their opposites.

You know how sometimes you see broad flashes from across a restaurant in candlelight from a diamond? It’s a logical result of every mirror inside the diamond working in harmony, and the crisp, true optical symmetry, that is Whiteflash's signature.

Want to find out more? Then head to Whiteflash.com to be razzled and dazzled.

Just keep shopping

The sales kept going...so I kept shopping!
Silk collar dress from Secret Squirrel
Shift dress from here.

I guess it's fair to conclude that I am especially partial to silk these days. When I found these pretty silk dresses on sale, I simply could not resist. Nothing compares to wearing silk on a hot summer day, not only do I like its lustrous look, it's also floaty, soft against my skin and keeps me cool, I know I'm gonna wear them a lot.

Have you been shopping lately?

Green and Gold

Wattle

Green and gold are the national colours of Australia, inspired by the beautiful golden wattle that grows so abundantly in this country I call home. Yesterday was Australia Day, so it's only appropriate that I'd saved this green and gold colour tag from Rose, for today. This tag requires that I photograph green and gold items in the house, so here goes:

With this tag, I have to pick another colour and tag more people to join in the fun. I tag:

Simply Bee

S and O Productions

Everything That's Anything

Just a girl in a crazy world.

.love.

Under the thespian sky

The Girl Can't Help It.

SO ORDINARY ME

The Pink Pony

LADY NOIR

Your colour is Red...have fun!

Sponsor shoutout: MiaBeads

It's easy to tell if someone loves their craft; mostly because, magic happens.

Mia of Miabeads is one such person; even at the age of 5, she was constantly creating little bracelets out of plastic beads and selling them to family members! Since then, she has moved on to using gorgeous Swarovski pearls and crystals, gold plated wires and charms and natural stones to create beautiful and drool-worthy jewellery.

And for some exciting news: Mia has generously offered my readers 10% off your next purchase at http://www.miabeads.com (wheee!)). Simply enter the code "KEY10" in the "message to seller" box during checkout, and your discount will be refunded via PayPal. This offer is good through Feb 28th, and is not valid on shipping or with other offers.

Love me if you dare

Stu and I re-watched one of my favourite movies, Love me if you dare, on DVD last night. I haven't seen it for so long, I'd forgotten just how great it was.

From their childish pranks, their reckless ways, Louis Armstrong's "La vie en Rose" played over and over again, to the fact that Guillaume Canet and Marion Cotillard make such a handsome couple; this movie is just perfect in so many ways.

If you haven't seen it, you really should.

Wildflowers

Most people fail to notice them, unknowingly step on them and even call them weeds, but I prefer to use the word "wildflowers" and I see a certain beauty to them. Do you?

Red red wine

One lazy afternoon recently, Stu and I ventured here at the Rocks for some wine tasting.I don't usually take trains so on the odd occassions that I do, I'm super excited like it's a momentous event. We tried 4 different wine varieties, all reds, all Australian. And snacked on these beetroot and goat's cheese "pillows". YUM.All mellowed out, after. And looking slightly dopey too.
How do you spend your lazy afternoons?

Taste of summer

If I had to sum up the taste of summer in just one word, it would be peaches. And it's not just because it is in season this time of the year; I think it has to do with the slight crunchiness as I bite into its pink and creamy skin, its sweet, tangy flesh and the juices that drips down the side of my mouth. Messy but delightful, very much like summer itself.

What does summer taste like to you?

Stop! I have few things to say...

Firstly, apologies for not being as active as I usually am on the blogging front with comments and visits, but I have been a busy bee. As you may have noticed, I have made a few changes to the layout of this blog and it's taken up quite a bit of my time trying to work that out. The good news is, I can finally say that the new layout is ready and I hope you like it!

Bad news is, in the process of updating my layout, I stupidly deleted my blog list, so if your link is missing, or if you'd like to exchange links, please let me know.

In more exciting news; I got myself sponsors for the very first time! If you're interested in becoming a sponsor of this blog, please email me for low rates.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you (yes, you!), my wonderful reader for making this possible. Your support, comments and visits brighten my every day. I hope you'll take the time out to visit my sponsors, who offer very wonderful items and services. By supporting them, you are supporting me too!

That's all for now, I look forward to catching up on all your blogs very soon, have a lovely, lovely day!
