I have to agree! :) Ever since I can recall, I've properly opened my gifts without tearing the wrapper because the packaging is just too pretty sometimes! :)
Oh. Erm...the presents I wrapped prior to reading this post now look really rubbish! Gonna have to get me some pretty ribbon and lace and start again!!! Lovely piccies :)
These are all so gosh darn pretty! I wish I could wrap gifts even half as well as any of these. But yeah, I always feel bad opening such gorgeously wrapped things and feel like I'm destroying them, haha!
Beautiful wrapping is the best, those pictures really capture how beautiful it can be! I always take it off so carefully as well, hate to wreck it when its s pretty!! xx
I do love a pretty package! these are all gorgeous. unfortunately, I'm usually in a mad rush to finish wrapping everything before christmas, so as long as it's covered, it's good with me! haha. but I do still take the time to add plenty of curled ribbons and bows.
I agree :) Even most ordinary gift is more beautiful when it is beautifully wrapped. Oh.. I must think how to wrap my gifts this year. And those ideas are very helpful.

Love this post and totally agree-- have been rather obsessed with getting coordinating papers, ribbons and the like to make all of the gifts look good wrapped up. Getting to be worried that the wrapping makes the gifts look better than they actually are! Haha

oh my gosh, I am exactly the same way!! i love pretty packaging and papers, stickers, ribbons, bows, etc etc. I think i'd be super happy getting pretty boxes with nothing inside as a gift
so so true - i pro wouldnt want to open the gifts so i wouldnt wreck the packaging. At the very least I would take photos of the pressents before i opened them so I could remember how beautiful they were wrapped!

I would never open those! I would use them to decorate my home. Flowers and beautifully wrapped gifts.

It's not silly at all - great packaging is as much fun as the gift inside!
I definitely understand! I'm the person who tries they're vey best to rip any of the paper when unwrapping a gift so I can save it!
