My mom had a huge collection of brooches, and my job as her little girl was to pick out a brooch for her each day to match her clothes. These little pieces of jewellery fascinated me, I loved touching them, feeling the pearls and stones and wishing that one day, I'll grow up to wear them myself.

I don't wear them much but I have really started to like them. Especially pretty, vintage brooches. They can dress up a plain top or cardigan. Love the pictures too.

i used to wear brooches when i was a bit younger. i actually had a bit of a collection. i don't know why i stop wearing them.
