There was a particular swing in the park that I used to go to everyday as a child. I loved being on it, feeling the air rush past my face as I swung myself higher and higher, trying to reach for the sky. Then one day, while I was happily swinging along, a ball came flying towards me, hit me smack bang on the face so hard I fell backwards, landing flat on the ground. Ouch.The incident hasn't deterred my love for swings, though I did develop an aversion to boys playing ball games in parks.

I love swings, and I wish they'd make swings for grown ups too. Actually I know this little cafe that has swing seats here in Melbourne. Pretty cool :)

Were you thinking of me when you did this post. I love love love this first pic, may I please steal in from you? I also love the swing by itself, I do this with jasmine in the spring here for garden parties. I also have done this with Mandevilla in the summer. It's great for the day or two it last. I found the picture on your right sidebar at another blog, and expect to see that one in the future. The swings speak to my heart, in the future will you always grab them and send them to me? Starting to wish it was fall here, the heat can be horrendus on The Gulf of Mexico.

I love anything that feels remotely like flying. Swings, swimming, dancing. Luckily I'm light enough to be able to still use playground swings designed for children :)

I've always loved swings. I may put one inside my home I love them so much. Definitely a sweet wood swing in the yard though, on a nice big old tree. These pictures are so beautiful...they make me dream about it just a little bit more.

I like the old school swings with old school chains and long tall tube frames. There is one in a public park that I found. I love it. Most new parks have short stubby too safe swings.
I love swings! I still try to use them when I go to the park.
And that last one is beautiful! I would love to have one like that in my yard with pretty flowers going up.

I love the pictures as usual! I love the swings, and I wish they had them at the high school. They don't need to have a whole playground, just some swings for goodness sake! That'd be awesome.

ohh i love to swing, when i lived at home i would run down to the park by my house late at night and just swing til my legs ached, it was just so relaxing to me

Ha ha sorry about the baseball! I know what that feels like, although not while on a swing. Love swings! I did have one of those "I forgot to put pants on" dreams years ago and I was swinging in that dream. That's what I think of when I hear the word swing. I hope I never forget my pants in real life.

me too!! When ever i see kids playing with a ball i cover my face and run very fast away. Once you've been hit in the face with a ball you do not want to repeat the exerience!
