Pictures from weheartit.I think that people who have unusual pets are so darn cool.
The strangest pets I've ever had was a tank of caterpillars because I wanted to watch them change into butterflies. But it all got too creepy for me and I started having nightmares about them crawling all over me, so my dad had to throw them out.

I used to have frogs. They wouldn't eat the pellets we bought from the pet shop for them so my little brother and I could catch live flies and put them into the frog tank for them to eat... We got very good at catching flies...
That first image is so beautiful!! So cute! I don't have a pet though, but sometimes I wish I had!! Then it would be a dog, I guess! Not very unusual :)

I would love to have a furry pet, but I was allergic to fur, so my parents got me a turtle.
cutes! think the most unusual pets i had were a couple of stick insects my brother & i shared when we were little called nirvana and peter! x
WHat sweet photos! My sister and I had a lot of animals when we were little. She like to have praying mantises but they had babies and they were every where you looked!

what adorable photos! I haven't had too strange of pets. I had two hamsters growing up and my brother had a guinea pig. I also had a kitty and now I have a dog. as a child though I wanted to have frogs and turtles... and I actually did have two silk worms for a short period of time-- until they escaped! so sad.
Hmmm...I have two dogs but they are just regular....But I have a friend who has a snake...

Oh my goodness, those are all so adorable! I don't really have any unusual pets... I've had dogs, frogs, fish, more fish, a rabbit, hamsters, and snails... but friend had a pet grasshopper though for a short amount of time haha.

oh i love strange pets... but i don't think i could ever have one -- something breaks my heart a bit to take them out of nature...i would love a bird, but it makes me sad to cage them.
I just watched Uptown Girls the other day and she had a pet pig named Moo. It was so cute!!!!!!!! I've never really had a unique pet. Just the regular gerbil, cat, dog, bird pets for me!

I LOVE the pictures! I was "ooo"ing and "aaawwww"ing over the first! So cute!
My family found a week old baby bunny in our yard that was abandon. We had to take care of him or else he would die, so we raised him until he was old enough to take care of his self!
We have this thing with guinea pigs now! We used to have about 11, we sold dome to our local pet store, now we only have 6. We love guinea pigs!

my dad brought home chicks one day. we asked him for a dog but he brought us home baby chicks. we were ok with it because they were so cute!

I don't have any unusual pets. I grew up with cats, dogs, bunnies and a horse.
I used to feed a chipmunk by hand though. His name was Charlie. And then another chipmunk came along, he had a crooked tale. He soon became Joey. :)
My aunt's neighbor had a deer. I've just had cats and dogs, but I've always wanted something fun. Like a hedgehog. Or a baby deer. Or a pig.
Maybe I should have a farm. These photos are too cute. They're influencing my rational thought processes.

Oh my gosh, a baby deer! I am obsessed with deer, and, don't laugh, my dream is to own a Muntjac, which is a miniature deer. It probably won't be happening, but it's a happy thought nonetheless! Lovely blog, I'm following, so nice to meet you!

mind is kitty cat - 3 of them... all with diff character
no pets now, but i did have a bunny, dobermans and fishes before when i was younger.
the calf is so cute and the first one i cannot make out, but that is the cutest and tiniest pet i've seen.

awww, i love animals so much. i had a prize-winning guinea pig who won best in show at 4H fairs and a bluejay who fell out of a tree.
I've had a newt and a salamander but that's about it as far as unusual pets . . . though this seems like a perfect time to bring up the world's smallest little horse, Einstein, who is only 6 pounds! Have you seen him? So cute!

I wish I had an unusual pet, but I can't. Although I've always wanted an Alpaca and if I ever live on a farm one day I will get some for sure!
My most unusual pets were probably my red-eared slider turtle, Tuck, and my rat, Barnaby. Rats are quite misunderstood... mine was precious! And my turtle had the best personality. She was a real sweetheart!
