In the mood for love

Maggie Cheung makes the cheongsam look so good, I initially watched the movie just for her but found I loved everything else too; the poignant story of heartache, its very multicultural soundtrack, the acting, the 1960s setting of Hong Kong. It's one of my favourite movies of all time.

Isn't it a beautiful film! Wong Kar-wai is a genius. Love it.

Also her dresses are all amazing!

Looks beautiful! I will have to check it out for sure.

P.S. I still loved the Narnia movies. I think they kept the essence of the book even though they changed it.

Those dark red lights are so sultry. Movies like this really created a certain mythos about the Far East.

I never ended up seeing this movie, despite my best intentions, and despite loving the stills!! Thank you for the reminder. I saw the sequel 2046 though and the cinematography was fantastic. have you seen it?
