Pictures from weheartit.When I was young, I collected heaps of things; stickers, bookmarks, stamps, coins, shells, dried flowers, postcards etc. As a teenager I started collecting Barbie dolls, but that got too expensive so I stopped. Lately I've been thinking of starting a new collection of sorts, and these pictures have got me really inspired.

I too went through random phases of collecting... pogs... troll dolls... marbles... dried flowers... dolls from different countries - ha! All of my collections sound so lame! I love the pics you found... especially the blue glass bottles!
These collections are lovely. I thought about collecting milk bottles or blue bottles...but I think I'll stick to books.
I collected lots when I was younger too. I adore that teapot collection in the last photo!

i used to collect Barbies as well. and some hand-me-down stamp and rock and shell collections for awhile, hah.
OH man, i just saw someone else's comment. dude, I toootally had pogs for awhile!! and I used to collect cards, like collectible cards...my bro was all into Hockey ones, and i had Sailor Moon and other cartoon cards. haha. OH and stickers too.
I've always wanted to collect something again. I thought stationery and postcards would be great. I figured it should be something that is easy to store and isn't too much clutter.

Great collection! I used to collect tea cups until my collection grew too large. And I had a neat button collection going for a while, but whenever my nieces come to visit, they are little pirates, lol.
Hehe, I think I am collecting yarn. And Fluffy's hair, which people might find a bit too gross? --> I will make some felt things out of them.

Those are such gorgeous collections! I kind of collected little statue/figurine kind of things when I was little, but I don't really do that anymore. I have a state quarter collection though haha, cause I'm just that cool ;)
ooo, i love the sea glass bottles! i collected breyer horses, swarovski crystal figurines, rocks and minerals, sea glass, shells, hmmm...that looks like a long list already but i know there was more, oh: turtles! ;-)
can't even tell you how much i love the turquoise glass collection....sigh! perfectly wonderful....

These are so pretty! I used to collect stamps when I was little. When I was a teen I was collecting Glamour magazine, I had every issue of 2 years, which was 24 magazines. I don't know what happened to them...

my girls collect tonnes of stuff too. most mornings, i get them out of bed and under their covers i find dolls, stickers, plastic jewellery, books etc etc.
i collect yarn, fabric, shoes, bags (but it's not on purpose i don't think! LOL)
