Hello, my dear friend, Autumn, you have arrived today. I look forward your company as I watch the trees change colours and shed their leaves; I welcome the cool respite you bring, the refreshing rains, the smell of the air, the crispness of it against my skin. I shall savour hot soups, casserole dishes, warm pies and red, red wine. I love the dusting off of scarves, hats and warm jackets, the layering of clothes. I delight in the boundless opportunities to stay at home, wearing my cosy socks.

:O interesting! I love autumn/falls. I love the color. though I never had one here, lol. poor tropical country sees sun all the time, and the grasses here are always green, lol. no fancy orange, heheh.

I love following blogs of people in other countries because of posts like this!! It's still winter here but I think its so cool how it can be autumn somewhere else in the world. I love the leaves changing color in autumn. It's my favorite part!!!
We have different seasons! Hahaha! I was so confused! I looked at my calender, then your post, then my calender, finally my mom had to explain!

Autumn! How lovely! We're finally getting close to spring. But I always miss the trees changing colors. There's actually not that much of that in Southern California. I need to find myself a giant forest of trees that change color. Luckily, I have some time to do so.

I love the coolness of Autumn. The changing of the leaves...the few that do change, here. The weather is so similar to Spring but I choose Spring.
I do love the beach... but I think my favorite season is autumn. I love the smell in the air, walking to class and watching the leaves fall from the trees, caramel apples, soup and hot apple cider, football... so much to love about autumn!!

Hi Trishie, thanks for the reminder! I'm so sad that summer is over. When I was young I used to love playing in the autumn leaves. In the house where I'm living now, its mainly natives, and the trees seem to drop their leaves all year round! I'm forever sweeping my courtyard...!
oh how i love autumn, got a while to wait for ours although i am enjoying the start of spring. love the pictures, the brown shoes are so cute!
such a sweet little note to autumn!! i like imagining its unfolding somewhere distant from me. it's most definitely the throngs of snow-land here (with a tease of spring here and there). enjoy the leaves!!

oh wow I didn't even know Australia was opposite seasons. That's so great, Fall is for sure my absolute favorite season, I love the falling leaves and the cute jackets and boots you get to wear!

I love the changing leaves and wearing boots. I love boots! i love wearing big ugly fuzzy socks and covering my toasty feet with my suede grey flat boots. these photos are captivating.

the changing leaves are just so pretty during autumn, and i love colder weather, like where you can go outside with just a light jacket on. thats probably my favorite part.
