Silk collar dress from Secret Squirrel
Shift dress from here. I guess it's fair to conclude that I am especially partial to silk these days. When I found these pretty silk dresses on sale, I simply could not resist. Nothing compares to wearing silk on a hot summer day, not only do I like its lustrous look, it's also floaty, soft against my skin and keeps me cool, I know I'm gonna wear them a lot.

Such cute dresses. They do look so comfy and soft.
Lately, I have been buying up prints on Etsy. The walls in my attic studio are all slanty so I can't hang them up. Since we are moving in just a few months, I've been treating myself to some prints I have been drooling over for some time. Now I just have to find a place with plenty of wall space in my studio, heh heh.
i'm a sucker for silk too! almost everything i've been buying lately are silk :) plus it makes me feel a bit more grown up. lol.
Such pretty dresses! <3 I've shopped so much in the past month, I'm now giving my purse a rest. Hee. Silk is indeed lovely, but I just adore chiffon.

My goodness I could not agree with this post more, not necessarily about silk in the summer (im more about cotton) but I am now avoiding malls, boutiques, and stores period - all I see is sales and the temptation is too high.

That second dress is adorable! My most recent shopping trip was to a DFO in Brisbane. Two pairs of jeans for $40 and a cocktail dress for $30 reduced from $120. Can't complain!
Oh yeah!!! I am ready for spring and cute dresses. Cute choice!!!I need to try silk now that i don't have a baby in my harms 24/7 LOL.
