My jewellery and accessories collection was getting a bit out of control, so I spent some time re-arranging them in tea cups and saucers last night. It looks better than before but I still think it could be better organised. What I do like is that everything is out on display, because if I don't see it, I don't wear it (and very promptly forget about it!)How do you organise your jewellery?

Oooh, I love these photos. My jewels are organized in tangled clumps. It's not very effective and I don't recommend it.

I keep most of my more expensive items in a wooden jewellery box thats been in my family for years, its carved wood and came from india. Then rings and cheaper jewellery I have in a vintage tea cup. Normally everything is tangled up in it though!

I hang my earrings from martini glasses. It looks great and you can see all the different ones you have and than you can put a necklace or two in the cup part.

i have my necklaces hanging off this stick that i shoved in a jar of rocks. it is a temporary solution until i find something better...

I absolutely adore jewellery and i do have two jewellry boxes, one my Granny's and one i keep the plainer pieces in but for me, jewellery is all about enticing the senses and so i use mine as art pieces around my room- on hooks, pegs, mirrors, and i'm getting a clothes dummy to pin my broches and drape them over. That way i get to see them all everyday!

I like the little rocking horse.
My husband cut out a metal "tree" for me that he hung to the wall and that's where I hang my necklaces.
I have three jewelry cabinets that sit on the dresser-top to hold earrings and bracelets and items that I don't wear but want to keep.
Maybe I'll photograph it some day.

my jewelry is definitely out of control right now and in desperate need of being organized! right now I have a jewelry box bursting at the seams out onto the top of my dresser. I do hang my necklaces on the wall... I have big push pins lined up and I just hang the necklaces there. it helps them not get tangled but I have bought so many more necklaces lately that I need some more push pins! I also have some cute lil dishes that I like to put things in too, especially those pieces that I wear all the time. like you, if I don't see it, I forget to wear it!
I'm the same way. Must see in order to wear. I'm at the point though, where I'm over most of and want new! Typical. :)

Well I don't organaize my jewelery since it kind of just hangs on door knobs, and in little piles all over my room. This is a really neat way to orgainze it, if I had some pretty tea cups I would totally do it!
