Remember the orchids Stu's mom gave me a while ago? It's been over 5 weeks since they were first cut from the garden and they're only just starting to fade and drop. I am just amazed at how long they've lasted.I might press them or make some potpourri with them; a vanilla scent will be delicious, don't you think?

They certainly last longer than most flowers... I think because it has more water content, I'm afraid it's not suitable for pressing, it would get moldy...~Tried before hee*, even damaged my book which I used to press...

5 weeks? That's ages. I always feel impressed when I get flowers to last 2 weeks! What's your secret?
