Dusty

This is Sydney today. Wicked sandstorms blowing over the desert has brought all this red dust over to us. So it's dusty, dusty everywhere and really not nearly as pretty as the pictures suggest.

Pictures from here and here.

Oh my. I hope it goes away soon. Dust in the air is annoying.

whoa! that's one natural phenomena O_O

the pictures look really nice though! but i think i'd hate to be under that kind of weather condition. YIKES!

hopefully the storm goes away! i mean you really don't wanna be breathing all those unnecessary particles now, would you?

p.s. i think it's so creative of you to take pictures of something like this and turn it into a beauty :}

I just finished reading about this in another blog. The pictures really do look lovely but I'll take your word about the real results.

Although it does look a little pretty in the pictures... I trust you when you say it's a bit annoying. Hope the dust clears up and you're back to clear skies soon!!

I was going to ask you about this before I saw you'd posted about the dust. The photos are incredible, but I bet it's horrid outside for you at the moment.

I hope it clears up soon and that you don't have too much cleaning up to do.

Wow those photos are beautiful, but that must be so scary in real life!

p.s Is it bad of me to be concerned about the photographer's camera first?

I bet that does some damage to the cars. Gather some up, make a paste and exfoliate! haha

Hi Trish, I see we were thinking about the same thing today. Those dust storms are crazy. The photographers took some amazing photos. Thanks.. Carla x

Oh wow! I've never seen the sky like that before, not in Canada, America, or Prague.

I saw that on the headlines today and was wondering if it was affecting any of my blog friends. Those photos are pretty though. :)

Wow, how unusual, I heard about that on the news. Its hard to believe that Sydney is covered in dust! The pics look really pretty but the pollution must be awful. Wini

re: leaves

crochet leaves...use as a coaster? Tie them together and wear as a necklace? Who knows! I'm trying to get rid of items that can't be used. Nicknacks must go but it's so hard to part with things.

The storm happened in Gold Coast as well, where I am. I've never seen anything like it. I thought it was kind of beautiful even though there was dust everywhere. Great selection of pictures.
