Mine did.Was in Perth last week for work but was lucky enough to sneak away for a lovely day out on Rottnest Island (Rotto, for short). As no cars were allowed, the best way to see the island was on bicycle, so a mate and I pedalled our way around.

Crystal clear waters, soft creamy sand and the bluest sky makes for a perfect day out. We left footprints on the sand and said hello to the waves. I was buzzing from the cycling and fresh sea air; it was such a natural high I had to jump for joy. (But wouldn't you, too?)

Now what's this?Rotto is also home to the Quokkas, a marsupial, like the kangaroo and wallaby, only more rare. They look like a giant rat from the back and a tiny kangaroo from the side. They're super friendly, very cute and seem to be strangely attracted to my feet.

Too awesome!
