Visited Chinatown, had a look at the temple, Stu got himself a Chinese name, bought some souvenirs, drank fresh fruit juice from a market stall, dined at a Szechuan restaurant, Stu tried frog's legs for the very first time- all that in a day's work. I love playing tourist, even in my own country.
Have you visited your chinatown?

Ah I love this post. The China Town in SF is the best one I've visited.
I've only been to chinatown in nyc, but this looks so much cooler. Looks like so much fun, great pics!
Very fun! Unfortunately, we don't have a China Town here....but I wish we did!
i like the looks of your China Town. San Francisco's is pretty darn cool too. now that you mention it, i need to go back and dig it again. it's been awhile!

I love going to different china towns--looks like you had a great time!!
I am actually working in chinatown in Bangkok. It looks chinese by the chinese letters on the buildings, not the buildings.
Have fun anywhere!
Nice post! I've been to the chinatown in NYC and in San Francisco :) It always has really interesting things.
Great blog!

Hi there!
Thank you for commenting on my blog:)
LOVE chinatown - sounds like you had a really fun day, not sure about those frog legs though!
We have a tiny china town close by. I'll have to investigate! I tried frog legs in Mexico once... deep fried :o). Thanks for the inspiration. I feel a weekend excursion coming on!
Thanks everyone for your wonderful comments...it means so much to me!
Lyndseywiley: Deep fried frog legs...would love to try that someday. For the rest of you who haven't tried, frog's legs tastes like a cross between fish and chicken. :)
I LOVE playing tourist! Whether I've lived there for 23 years or 4. Actually I'm a tourist everywhere I am! =)
wow, i am dying to go to a chinatown, my boyfried is part chines. maybe he'll take me! haha.
